Last day in Baratze

Good morning!

Here are some pictures about the last workshops, students in the playground and finally a group picture. You can see students feeding the farm animals and learning about the vegetables in the green house. Pupils have enjoyed this experience a lot. See you in Berango!

Hello from Arteaga!

Today we have been collecting mushrooms in the forest, doing natural candles and riding a mare. The weather has been much better than yesterday, even though it's freezing cold. Tonight we will dance in the disco. Students are having a wonderful time and making friends from another school. Goodbye!

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle

5 year-olds have been working on storytelling with Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar, which is related to the topic of the Class Book we are learning. You can encourage your children to tell you the story or at least the bits they can remember. They are taking home a visual help consisting of a little caterpillar and a craft which they can finish at home. You'll also find a couple versions of the tale in YouTube by typing "the very hungry caterpillar". 

How many of you have asked yourselves what a caterpillar is? The translation is "beldarra" in Basque or "oruga" in Spanish.
