The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
5 year-olds
have been working on storytelling with Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry
Caterpillar, which is related to the topic of the Class Book we are learning. You can encourage your children to tell you the story or at least
the bits they can remember. They are taking home a visual help consisting of a little caterpillar and a craft which they can finish at home. You'll also find a couple versions of the tale in YouTube by typing "the very hungry caterpillar".
How many of you have asked yourselves what a caterpillar is? The translation is "beldarra" in Basque or "oruga" in Spanish.
